Saturday Kids Lab: B.L.O.C.K. (Building Little Objects Creatively and Kinetically)

30.10.2021

The upcoming Saturday Kids Lab will focus on the exhibition “Reuven Israel: F.L.O.O.R. (Formulated, Liminal, Oblique, Openable, Rectangles)” currently on view at CCA Tel Aviv. In the first part of the workshop, we will visit the new site-specific sculptural installation the artist conceived and tailored especially for the Center’s first floor gallery. We will explore the playful environment that the artist created, using colorful tiles similar to children’s building blocks. Following this exploration, we will go to the Center’s educational hub, where we will do a hands-on activity during which we will create our own mini-sculptural space using handmade building blocks, inspired by Israel’s work.

The Saturday Kids Lab is led by CCA Tel Aviv Educational Manager Eden Bannet (in Hebrew) for children between 6 and 10. Number of participants is limited.

Saturday, October 30, 11 am
Duration: 90 minutes
Admission: 40₪ (32₪ for Digitel card holders)
