Exhibition tour of “Blade Memory” with Naama Arad (Hebrew)
Saturday, March 20 at 12 noon
Please join artist Naama Arad for an informal tour of “Blade Memory,” which she curated with fellow artists Eran Nave and Ishai Shapira Kalter and that is currently on view at the Center. Her tour – which she titled The Making of “Blade Memory” – will focus on the process and decisions behind the exhibition. Following a predetermined path, Arad will move from one work to the next, stopping in front of each one in order to share anecdotes and stories that brought her and her fellow curators to select that specific spot in the Center for that specific artwork by that specific artist. Furthermore, she will use this opportunity to discuss the autonomous nature of objects and the rhizomatic structure of the exhibition, which can be experienced either as a group exhibition, a three-person show, or a total artwork.
The event will be held in Hebrew
